This oil is sustainably  harvested from trees that have remained on the forest floor for more than 7 years!  It takes time for the oil to concentrate into the wood. Palo Santo has  been widely used in folk medicines and by shamans  as a tool to release negativity and cleanse the body, emotions and spirit of negative energy. It is also a terrific insect repellant.
