Friday March 31, Andean Medicine Ceremony
Alexander shares: This is the Traditional Ceremony of the Andes “MESA ANDINA”.
We raise our voice with the consciousness of giving thanks for the sacred, for the honor of having known heaven and earth. It is a ceremony of healing and cleansing, prayer and singing that lasts approximately 5-6 hours, depending on the number of participants. It is a collective healing ceremony through Grandfather Tobacco, Wachuma (San Pedro) and Amazonian snuff.
The purpose is to connect the individual with himself and with the Universe, helping us in this way to find the answers we are needing in our lives, to see our abilities and talents, to confront our fears and to face what lives inside us. This knowledge brings freedom and health to each person, allows us to recognize new aspects of our being and to discover other spaces of consciousness.
