Quantum Healing: Hype or Hope? – Pt 1

Healing must be holistic if it is to have the greatest impact -- if it's to become a cure. Healing must be inclusive and consider the pros and cons of all available interventions.

Last week we unveiled a secret we’d been keeping from our beloved community for over two years: Kira Raa had been suffering in silence. Diagnosed with Lupus SLE, Fibromyalgia, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, there were times when a return to normalcy felt impossible…let alone the notion of finding a concrete cure.

But then, after much trial and error, we did find the cure to what ailed Kira; returning her to the joyful Angelic Oracle we all know and love. And, in her graciousness, she has shared her path to wellness in her e-book, Kira’s Cure! Journeying Through Illness and Addition: A Guide for the Afflicted and Those Who Love Them.

Together, we discovered a cure that not only worked, but could be duplicated by others. The healing journey was a difficult one, but well worth it.

This is a subject that is deeply important to us — and we know that it has ignited a spark of interest deep within you as well. Everyone has had someone who has been stricken ill, whether it was themselves or someone they love. And, speaking from experience, looking for ways to ease that person’s suffering can be made easier when there are others who know where you’re coming from, and can be a helping hand to reach out to during your “9-1-1 moment.”

So, for the next three weeks, we will be focused on healing methods, and the quest to find cures. But, in order for these discussions to mean anything, we first need to cover the basics:

What is Healing?

The words “heal” and “cure” mean different things to different people. Varied definitions can cause miscommunication and misunderstandings, leading to frustration and confusion — which aren’t conducive emotions to a healing environment.

To avoid these feelings — to get everyone on the same page — we’re going to define exactly what we mean when we use the words “heal” and “cure” in the coming weeks. First, we’ll look at the traditional and generally accepted definitions of the words:

Heal: To make sound or whole; to restore to health; or, to cause an undesirable condition to be overcome” ~ Merriam Webster Dictionary.

Cure: Something that stops a disease and makes someone healthy again; something that ends a problem or improves a bad situation; or, the act of making someone healthy again after an illness.” ~ Merriam Webster Dictionary.

These definitions are serviceable. At their base levels, they’re certainly true. In Kira’s case, her “undesirable condition” was overcome (healing) and she became healthy again again after a period of illness (a cure).

However, these definitions are limited and leave out certain human and spiritual qualities that we’d like to investigate further. So, allow us to expand on the traditional via our definitions of the words:

Healing involves, body, mind/emotions, and spirit (energy). Healing can start at any of these levels and then the positive influence must involve the other layers of our beingness.

Thus, there is no opposition between allopathic and holistic models as long as each is willing to include the other. For example, at times there is true value in surgery and yet, without preparing the mind (beliefs) and the emotions (positive expectancy) healing is slowed.

And a cure…?

A cure is an on-going and successful healing method that brings a full or acceptable restoration of balance to the person in need.

In other words, if you’ve found a method of healing that works for you — and it works continually — you have found a cure.

Healing must be holistic if it is to have the greatest impact — if it’s to become a cure. Healing must be inclusive and consider the pros and cons of all available interventions.

What to Expect in the Coming Weeks

As we enter June, you can expect us to look at a variety of healing modalities; from Reiki healing to Egyptian healing rods to quantum energy. From drugs to prayers to placebos. From the works of well-known individuals such as Deepak Chopra to lesser-known (but still intriguing!) scientists and healers like Dr. Shui Yin Lo.

We’ll be separating the hype from the hope both here and on Sri and Kira LIVE!

We encourage you to follow along in both locations! We will be providing our own opinions and research here, but, during our live shows we will be joined by several guest experts who will add their unique, qualified perspectives to the conversation.

Our first guest is Chris Kehler, a quantum energy practitioner/healer who specializes in finding the trouble areas in the body and the stressors within that area by using the pendulum and chart method of dowsing.

Chris has discovered that when working with universal energies, one must think not just “outside the box,” but WAY outside the box. When considering a person’s ill health, Chris not only looks for viruses and infections, but also “off the wall” possibilities such as entities, aliens, demons, karmic debt, and how well your body is grounded to the earth.

Tune in for this amazing show!
